Eagle Prairie Collection.
This collection opens its pages to American writers want to be published in France, UK and USA. Our close ties with the South Dakota give us wings and across the oceans, the Prairie Winds carries the unknown talents in France, a country where we have many English readers.
These books are published in English, some will be translated into French.
The Midwest is a vast country of legends, pioneers, adventures and great outdoors.
It is also the home of the Natives Nations, people who have much to teach us and tell...
The first unpublished book forthcoming is "South Dakota Mysteries", by Patrick G. Allen (Mitchell SD). Five strange stories in the town of Mitchell, in Davison County, in Mount Rushmore ... We'll publish it at Spring '10.
Also available "A brief story of South Dakota" by Doan Robinson.
In January is published "Maybe I'm Wrong" by Robert Claire Raines, a writer wich lived in Mitchell S. D. --- This unusual book (difficult to categorize it!), describes few sketches of lives and frame of mind of writer on the life, usages and lifestyle. Written with humor and philosophy, it's a pleasant—entertaining book. Some chapters are wrote in our 'local language' (South Dakota, Davison Co.), but are easy to read--they can make us remember our grandparents tell their life in the days of our childhood.
Rare to find, this book is testimony on a near past in a rural district, in a small town. You need to read it!
